About Gail Fraser:
Gail Fraser, the sole artist behind the AM Poulin brand, was born and raised in Rye, New York. She studied at the University of London before returning to Skidmore College where she earned her BA in English Education. She completed her MBA at the University of Connecticut, with graduate work done at Harvard University. Gail had a successful career in business strategy, holding senior executive and upper management positions in several Fortune 500 and start-up corporations, while working and living extensively throughout the world. After retiring from corporate, she wrote the seven novels of the acclaimed Lumby series, which was published by Penguin Random House.
When Gail's husband, folk artist Art Poulin, passed away in 2018, Gail continued writing but pivoted part of her efforts to generate new artwork in order to grow her company's legacy and foundation's value. She created the new portfolio "AM Poulin" which is the collection of her hand-created timeless landscapes that embrace the rural spirit and uncompromised character of America while following similar rules of color, style, and composition previously used by Art. "Under AM Poulin, my artwork will always embody the pride in our pasts and the cherished memories of our lives." Also on her schedule, Gail manages her company, Lazygoose USA, that canopies the artistic assets she and Art created over the years. Although her current focus is dedicated to her folk art, Gail writes each day, working on Book 8 of the Lumby Series as well as Book 1 of Wells Cross, and on off-hours, Gail can be found in her pottery studio. She is a distance swimmer and an active member in Mensa.
